ANTI TERRORISM ACT, 1997
No. 2(12)-APRO/2003.— Whereas, the Chief commissioner, Islamabad Capital Territory having received information that that Usman Nazir S/o Muhammad Nazir is an office bearer of the organization Hizbe Ai-Tahreer, which is involved in terrorism and proscribed under Section 11E of the Anti-Terrorism Act, 1997 (XXVII of 1997).
And in pursuance of the Federal Government declaring Hizbe Al- Tahreers as a proscribed organization under Section 11E of the Anti-Terrorism Act, 1997 (XXVII of 1997) and in exercise of powers conferred by sub-section (1) of Section 11EE of the Anti Terrorism Act, 1997 as amended read with SRO 1038(I)/2003, dated 15th November, 2003 and Ministry of law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs Notification No. 17(2)/80-Pub, dated 31st December, 1980 (P.O. 18 of 1980), and all other powers enabling him on that behalf, the chief Commissioner, Islamabad Capital Territory is pleased to notify the name Usman Nazir, an office bearer of the organization the Hizbe-Al-Tahreer in the list entered in the FOURTH SCHEDULE to the said Act.
